An Alumni Meet in connection with autonomous visit was arranged on 3rd April 2021. Around 75 Alumni participated in the meet during the pandemic. Beloved Principal Dr. Nanda.N welcomed the gathering and interacted with them to share their experiences in this prestigious institution. She also offered them to express their views and suggestions in connection with our institution going for autonomous.
Senior alumni favoring the institution in going for autonomous and also expressing their gratitude to serve/render services to the benefit of the college students.
Alumni of BMSCW Ms. Poornima B & Shwetha P Shetty in association with SARATHI: A Resource Center for Communication initiated an awareness programme on the topic “Fake News and its Vertical Damages to the society” for the HOD’s, PG Students of Maths & Chemistry and NSS volunteers on 9th, 17th December 2020 and 9th January 2021 respectively.
The Alumni Association of BMSCW had organized an online workshop on 08/05/2020. The topic for the workshop was “ Impact of Covid 19 on the Indian economy” . The session was inaugurated by a welcome speech from Dr.Lalitha.B.S, Alumni convenor of BMSCW. The session was taken over by Ms. Ankitha Lavanya, the speaker of the workshop. She is also the alumni of M.Com Department and belongs to the 2017-19 batch . Some of the faculties and 4th sem students of M.Com attended the session . Ms.Ankitha gave an insight about the pandemic situation in the country and explained in depth the impact of Covid 19 on the various sectors of the economy. She also gave suggestions to come out of this situation and the time span involved for this process. In the end of the session Ms. Vinodhini proposed the vote of thanks and expressed her gratitude to principal maam, management and the speaker. Students felt happy getting an indepth analysis of the impact of the pandemic on the economy.

A webinar on the topic “Herbal Chocolates” was organized on 24thJune 2020. The speaker alumni Ms.Vishnupriya gave a deep insight on the preparation of herbal chocolates using tulsi, mint, oats & millets.
On 30th June 2020 a webinar was organized on the topic “Gaps in Academics and Corporate Work Culture”. The Speaker Mr.Umanand , Team Leader working for Accenture tried to highlight the skills required in the student along with academics to gain a corporate placement.
On 30thJune 2020 a webinar was organized on the topic “Job skills for success, post covid 19 a paradigm shift”. The speaker Dr.Uma Ananth, HR expert, conducted various sessions on soft skills , group discussions, personal interview skills sessions.
