In the year 2002, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was set up in BMSCW, with the objective of sustaining and enhancing quality in all areas pertaining to institutional development.
Vision and Mission:
IQAC aims at promoting quality culture by setting up realistic quality benchmarks in academic and administrative activities.
Quality Policy:
IQAC, BMSCW, augments the institutional policy, by committing itself to:
- Empowering women by making quality a defining element in their personal and professional lives
- Sustaining and enhancing quality in higher education
- Inculcating sensitivity to social responsibility among students.

Functions:
- Keeping track of annual progress of departments and the institution.
- Developing research culture among staff and students
- Encouraging organization of seminars, conferences, workshops, etc for both staff and students
- Ensuring continuous improvement in all institutional activities by adopting new and innovative trends in education.
