GO – GREEN and ECO CLUB are attached to Department of Botany
A Green Campus is a place where Eco friendly practices and education combine to promote sustainable and eco-friendly practices in the campus. The green campus concept offers an institution the opportunity to take the lead in redefining its environmental culture and developing new paradigms by creating sustainable solutions to environmental, social and economic needs of mankind.
BMS College for Women is striving to develop its institution on a self –sustainable basis in the areas of power, water and cleanliness. The faculty, staff and students are contributing collectively to develop an eco-friendly sustainable campus and disseminate the concept of eco-friendly culture inside the campus and to the nearby community and wherever possible.
The Go Green Campus Committee will act as per the environmental policy and shoulder the responsibility of maintaining and protecting environment inside the college.
The Aim of the committee is to provide advice for the development of environmental policy and practice in the areas of:

Our college has been continuously conducting awareness programmes for staff, students and society for protecting and maintaining environment. The awareness is also done by arranging programmes, rallies on various issues related to environment and health. The college students and faculty Members are involved in the activities through NSS/NCC, Go Green Campus, Eco-Club etc
